Actress Viet Trinh recently participated in the "Children's Environmental Protection Festival" in Can Tho on 31/5. She modeled a dress crafted from recycled plastic bags, aiming to promote a waste-free environment and inspire environmental consciousness among children.
During the event, "Tay Do Beauty" walked the catwalk in the unique dress. She publicly committed to abandoning single-use plastic products, emphasizing her dedication to reducing pollution. She was joined on the runway by child models from the Pinkids club, founded by fashion director Nguyen Hung Phuc.
The recycled outfits showcased at the festival were the creative work of students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture. These designs primarily utilized plastic bags and plastic paper as their core materials, demonstrating innovative approaches to waste reduction.

The festival also featured a performance by young Quoc Minh, son of singer Ung Hoang Phuc. He performed the song "Mot vong Viet Nam," composed by Dong Thien Duc, adding to the event's engaging atmosphere.
After stepping away from showbiz in 2022, Viet Trinh has dedicated her time to personal pursuits and enjoying life in her middle age. She frequently shares updates on her travels, both domestically and internationally. In 2025, she visited more than 10 countries. She currently resides with her son in a garden villa in TP HCM.
Viet Trinh was a renowned actress in the 1990s, celebrated for her roles in films such as Ngoc Trong Da, Xuong Rong Den, and Nguoi Dep Tay Do. Following various emotional and life challenges, she temporarily withdrew from the entertainment industry. In 2010, she made a comeback to artistic activities, venturing into directing and collaborating with screenwriter Chau Tho on several projects, including the three-part series Tro Ve and the feature film Trot Yeu (2015).
