Vietnamese stars embrace 'tram ty' photo trend

Miss Ky Duyen, Tieu Vy, and actor Quoc Anh follow the trend of wearing street style outfits and posing as if secretly photographed by paparazzi.

Miss Tieu Vy is among the celebrities embracing the 'tram ty' (fansite master) trend. This slang refers to fans who specialize in taking photos of idols in China and South Korea. In this style, subjects pose naturally while walking on the street, at train stations, in elevators, or at airports, mimicking celebrities being candidly photographed. Photographers often hide behind lampposts, utility poles, or wall corners to capture these moments.

Since mid-November, hundreds of videos featuring this photo style have surged on social media, quickly becoming a popular trend among Vietnamese youth. Many individuals are willing to spend millions of dong to hire photographers, seeking to create a few 'virtual life' (social media-worthy) photos.

Miss Ky Duyen also follows this trend, sporting a tracksuit and a shoulder bag with a 1990s vibe.

During her trip to Hanoi, Truong Quynh Anh took the opportunity to 'catch the trend'.

The practice of natural street photography, where subjects do not look directly at the camera, has existed for a long time. However, this style has gained significant popularity recently, especially after being named 'tram ty'. The name has sparked curiosity and tapped into the public's desire to experience the feeling of being a pursued celebrity.

Runner-up Ngoc Thao embraces the Y2K style with a crop top and ripped jeans. She accessorizes with a dog-shaped Louis Vuitton bag.

Model Huong Lien showcases an elegant look with a shirt, jeans, a Hermes belt, and a Burberry bag.

Miss Que Anh brings a 1970s vibe with flared pants, a Dior t-shirt, and a Lady bag.

Runner-up Phuong Anh wears a blazer and a Dior saddle bag, mimicking a moment of being pursued by paparazzi.

Model Tu Hao opts for an early 2000s look with flip-flops and a belly-baring top.

Hotgirl Sam poses on the street in a neutral-toned outfit, featuring a trench coat and a Hermes bag.

Actress Huyen Lizzie wears a cardigan and a Chanel hobo bag.

Actor Quoc Anh sports an all-blue unisex style outfit with a shirt and jeans.
