'world's most beautiful queen' visits Ha Long Bay

Opal Suchata arrived in Ha Long City to co-host the 73rd Miss World competition. For the past three days, she participated in various cultural, tourism, and charity activities. On 11/8, the beauty queen explored Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, for the first time.

In 2024, Tripadvisor honored Ha Long Bay, ranking it second among the top 25 most beautiful natural destinations worldwide.

Sharing moments from her trip on her personal page, she wrote: "leisurely exploring the city and floating among the rocky islands associated with the legend of dragons descending".

Mr. Pham Tuan Ngoc, a male model, served as her guide during the trip. He introduced the beauty queen to the islands and the life of local fishermen at sea.

They opted for a three-sailed boat instead of a yacht, seeking a more intimate experience with nature.

The beauty queen wore an ao dai for a commemorative photoshoot against the backdrop of the distant sea and mountains.

Additionally, Opal Suchata visited several cultural sites, including Duc Ong Tran Quoc Nghien Temple and Quang Ninh Museum.

During her excursion, the beauty queen carried a conical hat, a gift from the organizers at The Welcome Dinner Party on 9/8.

On 13/8, she traveled to Hai Phong City for subsequent activities within the competition framework. Opal will crown her successor at the 73rd Miss World final, scheduled for the evening of 5/9 in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa.

In late July, Opal Suchata won the title of "World's Most Beautiful Queen 2025", as chosen by the beauty website Global Beauties. The beauty queen surpassed 107 contestants to be crowned Miss World 72nd in May 2025 in India, becoming the first Thai beauty to claim the pageant's crown.

Opal Suchata, 23 years old, is a Law student at Thammasat University, specializing in International Relations. In November 2024, she represented Thailand at Miss Universe in Mexico, securing the third runner-up position. For many months, she has traveled worldwide, spreading humanitarian values.
