Duong Ngoc Thai and wife release MV 'Growing Old Together'

Singers Duong Ngoc Thai and Trieu Ai Vy have released the music video 'Growing Old Together' to commemorate 14 years of their bond and building a family with their three children.

The song, composed by Long Ho Huynh specifically for the couple, features a gentle melody and narrative lyrics. It conveys a message of fidelity, enduring companionship, and a vow to stay together through life's challenges: "Let's grow old together/ Even on stormy days, I'll turn into pink clouds/ No matter life's many sorrows/ As long as we have each other, like doves intertwined and inseparable."

Duong Ngoc Thai stated that instead of an anniversary party, he and his wife chose music to capture their feelings after years of marriage. The music video was filmed over two days at a coastal area and a high-end resort in Vung Tau, TP HCM, featuring their three young children.

After starting a family, Trieu Ai Vy stepped back from her career to support her husband. Duong Ngoc Thai expressed gratitude that his wife not only manages their home but also provides emotional support, helping him become more family-oriented. The Quang Ngai-born singer admitted to previous habits like excessive drinking and socializing. However, since embracing spiritual practice, his wife notes he has become more responsible and disciplined. They travel together on all tours, maintain a vegetarian diet, and exercise daily.

Regarding parenting, the couple combines strictness with gentleness, guiding their children towards a kind and dutiful lifestyle. They do not pressure their children, allowing them to develop naturally and choose their future paths freely.

The 70s-born singer's family lives in a 600 m2 villa in TP HCM. Over the past two years, alongside his singing career, the couple has also developed a vegetarian bread brand.

Duong Ngoc Thai, 47, graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts in 2001. The Quang Ngai-born singer is known for his romantic folk songs. Throughout his career, he has released 15 CDs, two DVDs, and performed six liveshows. He married singer Trieu Ai Vy, 37, in 2013. They have three children: Su, 12; Shi, eight; and Tin, five.
