Xu Xiyuan once hid her name while doing charity

During her lifetime, Taiwanese actress Xu Xiyuan requested that those she helped financially not disclose her charitable acts.

A week ago, a single mother in mainland China revealed that Xu Xiyuan had paid her medical bills, according to Next Apple. Following her disclosure, many others shared their stories of receiving assistance from the late actress, leading to widespread recognition of her philanthropy on social media.

The mother recounted that her son suffered from epilepsy, with monthly treatment costs of 2,000 CNY (approximately 7,5 million VND). Facing financial hardship and exhaustion, she had repeatedly sought assistance. Xu Xiyuan contacted her to provide financial aid for the child, requesting that the information remain confidential.

Another single mother in Guangxi shared that her daughter battled leukemia, causing immense financial and emotional strain for their family. Through her manager, Xu Xiyuan sent the mother 300,000 CNY (over 1,1 billion VND), adding, "Focus on your child's treatment; if it's not enough, please let me know." The mother reported that her daughter's condition is now controlled, crediting Xu Xiyuan for her child's recovery.

In 2013, a man received 20,000 CNY (approximately 75 million VND) from Xu Xiyuan to continue his university studies after his family experienced a setback. The actress and her manager contacted him to verify his situation before transferring the funds, also requesting that he keep the matter private.

Xu Xiyuan also secretly provided medical assistance to children suffering from tuberculosis and Tourette's syndrome. The relatives of these children stated that when transferring funds, the actress simply expressed her desire for the children to receive adequate care and treatment.
