Mashup "Rock thiep hong" - Toc Tien, Maiquinn, Muoii, Yeolan, Dao Tu A1J. Video: YouTube Lan Song Xanh
The performance video quickly became a sensation on YouTube, accumulating over 1 million views within 24 hours of its release and topping trending charts. The collaboration featured Maiquinn on drums, Dao Tu A1J on keyboard, Muoii on guitar, and Yeolan on keytar, before Toc Tien joined them on stage. Together, they performed a dynamic mashup of popular songs from YouTube and social media platforms, including: Ngay nay nam ay, E la khong the, Thiep hong sai ten, E la don che, Em thua co ta, Thu doi, and Cho ngay mua tan.
Toc Tien impressed with her powerful vocals and fiery stage presence. Muoii seamlessly blended her guitar playing with harmonious backing vocals, complementing Toc Tien. This dynamic performance captivated the audience at Hoa Binh Theater in TP HCM and viewers watching the live broadcast. Viewers quickly praised the act, with Le Thi Thu Trang commenting, "A smooth and visually stunning collaboration between the singers." Hoang Nguyen added, "Toc Tien and the 'Em xinh' group brought together great vocals, captivating performances, and a stage presence that illuminated the entire venue."

Toc Tien expressed her joy at the audience's positive reception of her performance with the younger artists. "This is when I truly reignite my passion," she shared. The 8x-generation singer revealed that rock music has always been her preference, so when the Lan Song Xanh organizers and DTAP extended the invitation, she accepted without hesitation, focusing less on her collaborators or stage appearance.
Music producer DTAP highlighted the primary challenge in creating the performance: dividing vocal lines and musical keys among the singers. This was complex due to their wide vocal ranges and the numerous songs included in the mashup. DTAP emphasized that an unskillful arrangement could sound "clumsy" and unpleasant for listeners. "The artists performed better than we expected," DTAP stated.
Toc Tien, 37, began her artistic journey at the age of four at the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House, turning professional at 13. At the height of her career, she moved to the United States for her studies. She returned to Vietnam in 2014 and quickly re-established herself, releasing numerous hit songs such as Ngay mai, composed by Luu Thien Huong, and Co ai thuong em nhu anh, by Bui Cong Nam. In 2017, she received the Excellent Asian Artist award at the MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards). Toc Tien has also ventured into acting, appearing in films like Gia gan, My nhan va Gang to, and Thanh Soi.
