Bach Mai Hospital and Long Chau have formalized a partnership to enhance emergency response training and improve customer care quality. The agreement was reached during a meeting at Bach Mai Hospital on 27/11, attended by Associate Professor Doctor Vu Van Giap, the hospital's deputy director, Nguyen Duc Long, senior director of external affairs for FPT Long Chau, and the FPT Retail leadership.
FPT Long Chau currently operates over 2,500 pharmacies and 250 vaccination points nationwide, employing 4,000 staff members for vaccination activities and 18,000 pharmacists working for its pharmacy system.
"Given our large scale and the need to standardize vaccination safety, we hope Bach Mai Hospital will support in-depth training on initial emergency response, especially in recognizing and managing stroke, cardiac arrest, and allergic reactions – anaphylaxis, as well as enhancing drug counseling skills for patients with underlying conditions. The training courses will follow a combined theory-clinical-assessment-certification model annually," an FPT Retail representative stated.

Long Chau also requested deeper cooperation in medical professional consultation, developing coordinated emergency response procedures at pharmacies and vaccination points, and connecting with Bach Mai Hospital's specialized contacts to implement a series of key programs in the future.
During the meeting, Bach Mai Hospital representatives acknowledged and praised Long Chau's efforts to improve service quality and expand its pharmaceutical and vaccine supply network nationwide. The hospital leadership affirmed its readiness to partner with FPT in training emergency personnel, establishing integrated emergency services with Bach Mai, and providing professional support to ensure vaccination safety.
The hospital proposed that FPT support Bach Mai in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to customer care, implementing tools to enhance patient experience, and collaborating on management software, finance, and rare drug supply.
