British tourist surprised by 24-hour dental treatment experience

Lee Rudkin from the UK completed a dental examination and treatment within 24 hours in Hue after experiencing a toothache during his trip.

During his tour of Hue, Rudkin developed a toothache while visiting the ancient capital's attractions. Initially, he felt a mild sensitivity, but the pain gradually intensified, making it difficult to eat and disrupting his travel plans.

Not wanting the situation to persist, Lee Rudkin sought local medical assistance following his tour guide's suggestion, visiting Nu Cuoi Viet Dental Clinic for an examination the same day.

There, doctors examined him and took X-rays during his first appointment. The assessment process was continuous, from a general check-up to identifying the cause of the pain, forming the basis for the doctors to develop a treatment plan.

Based on the examination results and the patient's length of stay in Vietnam, the doctors devised a suitable treatment plan to address the current condition and minimize disruption to his travel itinerary.

"In the UK, booking an appointment with a specialist often requires a significant waiting period, especially for cases needing X-rays and thorough assessment. I never imagined I could be examined and begin treatment so quickly during a holiday trip", Lee Rudkin shared.

In recent years, Nu Cuoi Viet Dental Clinic has seen a growing number of international clients from Australia, the US, Canada, and Europe, primarily seeking restorative services and implant placement.

According to Master. Doctor Nguyen Huu Minh, these clients typically have short stays, while their treatment needs demand precision and flexible scheduling to fit their travel plans.

Recognizing this, Nu Cuoi Viet Dental Clinic implemented a "dental tourism" model to meet the treatment needs of international clients during their short stays in Vietnam. Before their trip, patients can send X-rays, medical data, or describe their oral health condition for doctors to review and develop a treatment plan.

Upon arrival in Hue, the entire examination and treatment process proceeds according to the pre-prepared protocol, helping to reduce waiting times and the number of follow-up visits during international clients' stays.

The clinic also proactively offers free support for related services, such as local transportation and accommodation costs, assisting international clients in minimizing logistical arrangements while combining their treatment with a tourism experience in Hue.

According to the clinic, cases like Lee Rudkin's demonstrate how this model contributes to promoting medical tourism in Hue, blending dental services with a unique travel experience for international visitors.
