On 13/11, the Drug Administration issued a decision recalling 22 products from Quoc Te Dai Cat A Co., Ltd., located in Phu Nhuan, TP HCM. The recalled items include skincare products such as Queendoes essential PDRN serum, The Skin house crystal whitening plus serum, Queendoes lucia serum, The Sin house wrinkle collagen toner, DR.IASO triple-m hydrating cream, Hyaluronic 6000 ampoule, and Snail mucin 5000 AmPoule.
Separately, Phat Anh Minh Co., Ltd., based in Thanh Tri, Ha Noi, had 23 products recalled. Other recalled items are Lion Kids’Toothpaste Strawberry toothpaste, Viral Hot Pink Colorwash, and Medicinal Medicinal Salt.
The Drug Administration stated that both companies were trading cosmetics without providing or presenting the required product information dossiers. As a result, the businesses must stop sales, recall the affected products, and submit a report to the Drug Administration by 25/11.
Additionally, the Drug Administration revoked the announcement receipts for these cosmetic products.
This marks the first time the Drug Administration has recalled such a large number of cosmetic products simultaneously.
Over the past week, the Ministry of Health has consistently identified, suspended, and recalled fake, substandard, or unqualified cosmetic products. Yesterday, a counterfeit sunscreen was also recalled. Experts warn that substandard products pose risks of skin irritation, infection, or other health impacts on users.
