Unicity focuses on proactive healthcare

Unicity pursues a proactive healthcare strategy, focusing on early disease prevention and developing a science-based nutritional ecosystem.

Bobby Kim, senior vice president for Asia-Pacific at Unicity Group, stated that the healthcare trend is shifting from treatment to proactive disease prevention. Consumers are increasingly focusing on controlling risk factors and taking early care of their bodies, which aligns with the company's long-term development strategy.

According to him, Unicity originated from Rexall, one of North America's oldest pharmacy chains with a history of nearly 100 years. From this foundation, the company expanded into international markets, combining science-based nutritional solutions with a community business model to promote healthy lifestyles.

In this context, Unicity aims to build a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem encompassing scientific research, nutritional solutions, educational training activities, and a global community that shares healthy lifestyles. The Asia-Pacific region is considered a dynamic growth market, as awareness of disease prevention and health management continues to increase.

Bobby Kim revealed that Unicity's growth in the region stems from distributors leveraging the scientific foundation of products, combined with community networks and training programs, to enhance consumer awareness. This contributes to forming sustainable healthy living habits. In Viet Nam, with the increase in non-communicable diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes, the demand for proactive disease prevention is becoming urgent. Inadequate nutritional issues also affect the physical health and stature of Vietnamese people.

In line with the mission "For a Healthy Viet Nam", Unicity Marketing Viet Nam (Unicity Viet Nam) implements community-based preventive models, in addition to inheriting the scientific foundation from the group. A prominent example is the "#Save10" campaign, which aims to improve health, enhance resistance, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Mai Thi Ngoc Lan, the company's sales and marketing director, stated that Unicity always aims to communicate and improve public health, encouraging everyone to proactively prevent disease and build healthy lifestyles to reduce the burden of illness on the healthcare system.

"Unicity Viet Nam's current nutritional solutions are not only aimed at improving short-term health but also help the body maintain long-term balance, thereby contributing to reducing the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases", she shared.

Mai Thi Ngoc Lan affirmed that Unicity views health as the foundation for each individual and the entire healthcare system. Therefore, it focuses on promoting correct awareness of proactive healthcare and preventive behaviors, aiming for a healthy, sustainable community.
