On the morning of 19/10, the Mansion Sports Club football field in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, buzzed with laughter from students of Vo Thi Sau Primary School and their parents during a sports festival. This event was part of the global "Anessa Sunshine Project" initiative, a collaboration with the Japan Football Association (JFA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF).

The program was more than just a weekend sports activity; it transformed the field into an outdoor learning environment. Here, children engaged in physical training, discovered the joy of movement, and learned to enjoy sunlight safely.
The project aims to help Vietnamese children and families enjoy outdoor activities while developing habits to protect their skin from UV rays. According to an Anessa representative, at a time when many parents over-focus on academic achievement, the initiative encourages children to balance study and play, as physical activity is fundamental for both physical and mental development.
During the event, coaches from JFA and HFF directly guided the children through exercises, football games, and educational activities on UV rays. Children learned how to apply sunscreen correctly and observed its protective effects using a UV camera.

The "Anessa Sunshine Project" is a global initiative by Asia's number one sunscreen brand (according to Euromonitor 2024). It focuses on three pillars: experience, education, and support, encouraging children to be active and play safely in the sun. In 2025, the project will be held three times in Vietnam, in partnership with Victoria Nam Sai Gon School, Kawasaki Frontale Club, and Vo Thi Sau Primary School. Vietnam is the first Southeast Asian country to host this series of activities, demonstrating Anessa's long-term commitment to local communities.

According to the company representative, when children engage in proper outdoor activity, they develop better physically, emotionally, and with greater self-confidence. Beyond community activities, Anessa also develops safe skincare products for children, including its Mild Series line for sensitive skin, which is alcohol-free, colorant-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and mineral oil-free, protecting skin from UV damage.
With the vision "Free to shine: where people and the planet live in harmony with the sun", Anessa aims to spread a positive, active, and nature-loving spirit. The project is expected to expand to 12 countries and territories in Asia, impacting more than 300,000 children globally by 2030, encouraging them to confidently enjoy a healthy childhood in the sun.
