The new generation MRI 3.0 Tesla Magnetom Vida XT system can reduce scan times by about 45-75%. The system operates more quietly, reducing noise. Its wide 70 cm bore also helps alleviate feelings of claustrophobia, especially for older patients or those with anxiety in enclosed spaces.

The system also offers significant clinical value. Utilizing 3.0 tesla superconducting magnetic field technology, combined with a 64-channel brain signal coil and a 204-channel whole-body coil, the device reconstructs highly detailed images. This assists doctors in early detection of microscopic lesions in the brain, spinal cord, blood vessels, and various internal organs. This is crucial for early diagnosis of neurological conditions such as stroke, dementia, or small brain tumors, thereby increasing opportunities for effective patient treatment.

For cardiovascular, hepatobiliary, and abdominal conditions, the system captures high-quality images even when patients cannot hold their breath or have difficulty cooperating during the scan. This ensures diagnostic accuracy while reducing the need for repeat scans, particularly in older or critically ill patients.
In oncology, this technology enables consistent monitoring of lesions across multiple scans, helping doctors accurately assess treatment response and adjust protocols promptly. For spinal and musculoskeletal conditions, the wide bore design and shorter scan times minimize involuntary movement, thereby improving image reliability.
Since its opening, Vinmec Ocean Park 2 Hospital has welcomed a large number of patients for examinations and diagnostic imaging services. Among these, the MRI 3.0 Tesla Magnetom Vida XT magnetic resonance system has received positive feedback.

Nguyen Thi Hien, 65, from Hanoi, shared her experience after a spinal MRI at the hospital. She recalled previous MRI scans elsewhere were long and noisy, causing fatigue. This time, the scan was faster, and she felt almost no stress during the process.
Similarly, Pham Van Manh, 38, from Hung Yen, expressed his surprise at the MRI experience at Vinmec Ocean Park 2: "The preparation was quick, and I didn't have to wear too much equipment. Now, my family won't need to travel far to central Hanoi for medical examinations and treatment anymore."
According to Professor Doctor Doan Quoc Hung, Director of Vinmec Ocean Park 2 Hospital, operating the MRI 3.0 Tesla Magnetom Vida XT system not only enhances diagnostic capabilities but also underscores Vinmec's commitment to investing in modern medical technology, guided by a "patient-centric" approach. This system helps improve healthcare quality and provides residents in the eastern capital region and Hung Yen province access to advanced diagnostic technologies comparable to leading medical centers worldwide.

To mark its grand opening, Vinmec Ocean Park 2 is offering promotional programs for patients seeking examinations and health screenings. The hospital provides free medical consultations (excluding emergency visits) during the program period. Additionally, many diagnostic imaging services are discounted by up to 70%, including breast ultrasound for 300,000 dong per session, breast X-ray for 600,000 dong per session, brain or cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine MRI for 800,000 dong per session, and brain angiography MRI for 300,000 dong per session. Other diagnostic imaging services receive a 50% discount, while laboratory tests, surgeries, procedures, and inpatient stays are reduced by 30%.
