Vinmec receives three Asian healthcare awards

Vinmec recognized as 'healthcare system of the year' for second consecutive year by Healthcare Asia Awards, also receiving two other awards for patient care and sustainable development.

The Healthcare Asia Awards 2026 ceremony took place in Singapore on 26/3. Vinmec, the sole Vietnamese representative, received three accolades: "Healthcare System of the Year" for the second consecutive year, an award for its patient care initiative, and recognition for its ESG program.

ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, is an assessment framework measuring a business's sustainability and responsibility towards the environment and society.

According to the Healthcare Asia Awards organizers, evaluation criteria included clinical effectiveness, innovation, and community value. Professor Doctor Tran Trung Dung, general director of Vinmec, stated that the awards acknowledge Vinmec's patient-centered approach and motivate the system to further enhance its comprehensive care model.

In 2025, Vinmec was also honored as "Healthcare System of the Year" and "Healthcare Technology Innovation of the Year".

Vinmec healthcare system is a prominent private healthcare provider in Vietnam. Recently, it has made an impact with its innovative palliative care model for cancer patients. Unlike traditional approaches focused solely on terminal stages, this model supports patients from diagnosis, integrating physical and mental care, and accompanying families throughout the treatment journey.

In 2025, Vinmec supported 1,139 disadvantaged patients with a total budget of 178 billion VND. The system also conducted over 60 free screening programs, enabling nearly 7,000 people to receive early detection and timely advice. Additionally, it reached over 900 million users through digital medical platforms.
