Nguyen Dinh Minh, a resident of Hong Gai ward, was detained by Quang Ninh Provincial Police along with 29 others on suspicion of gambling.

On 2/1 at approximately 4 pm, the Criminal Police Department, working with the Criminal Investigation Department (Ministry of Public Security), raided three fishing boats anchored in the Hon Dam Bac gorge area of Ha Long Bay. They apprehended 30 individuals caught in the act of gambling, playing a game known as 'xoc dia'. Authorities seized four discs, a set of ceramic bowls and plates, and over VND 436 million in cash, all used for the illicit activity.

Minh, who has four prior convictions, has been identified as the mastermind and leader of the gambling ring. Quang Ninh Provincial Police continue to expand their investigation into the case.
