On 5/3, An Giang Provincial Police temporarily detained Khai, a guard at an elementary school in O Lam commune. He is under investigation for the rape of a person under 16 years old.

Initial investigations revealed that around 12:30 on 2/3, Khai was on duty in the equipment room when he saw a 13-year-old female student, who was in grade 4, standing outside a window. He lured her with 100,000 VND and led her to the school's restroom, where he committed an indecent act.

Later that evening, the girl's relatives discovered the incident and reported Khai's actions to the O Lam Commune Police.

During the investigation, Khai confessed to the crime. He also admitted to sexually abusing the victim on three previous occasions using similar methods.
