A Lake County Sheriff's deputy in Florida observed a red Chevrolet Corvette and a Nissan 350Z racing on a national highway outside Orlando at midnight on 12/6.
The deputy clocked the Corvette at 200 km/h and the Nissan at 180 km/h before pulling over Bosworth's vehicle.
The 85-year-old, cigar in mouth, denied racing, claiming he was "just taking his favorite car for a spin".
Bosworth was then arrested, taken to Lake County jail, and released on bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for 7/7.

Authorities also identified and apprehended the driver of the Corvette, a 57-year-old man, who faces similar charges.
According to the arrest report, the 57-year-old denied racing, stating his Corvette "couldn't go that fast".
However, police reported that when jail staff asked him what car he was driving, he reportedly replied, "Corvette, that car won".
A gun and marijuana were also found in his vehicle. He posted bail and is scheduled to appear in court on 1/7.
The two men did not appear to know each other, and the reason for their impromptu race remains unclear.
