The Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security announced on the afternoon of 1/7 that it had prosecuted and temporarily detained Ho Ngoc Tien Trung. He is being investigated on charges of fraudulent appropriation of property and violations of accounting regulations causing serious consequences.
Police also temporarily detained Thai Huu Van for fraudulent appropriation of property and Dam Thi Bich Hang on charges of violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences.

Initial investigations revealed that Trung exploited the establishment and operation of the dental clinic system, renting doctors' practice certificates to build credibility. He directed fraudulent advertising regarding the medical team and the origin of high-end porcelain crowns, falsely claiming they were from the US, Germany, and Japan, to gain customer trust for payments. Subsequently, Trung instructed Van and others to use low-cost Aidite porcelain crown blanks from China to manufacture replacements for the materials promised to customers. He also issued warranty cards with incorrect origin information to conceal the fraudulent activity.
Additionally, Trung exploited the establishment of multiple clinics structured as individual business households. He directed the creation and use of several separate accounting systems and revenue data, ensuring actual revenue was not fully reflected in tax declaration documents. Through Hang and other involved individuals, Trung declared lower than actual revenue to evade taxes.
The Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has identified customers who used services at Dai Nam Aesthetic Dental Clinic One Member Limited Liability Company's clinics as victims in this case. The investigation is ongoing.
