Nguyen Cong Tung, 51, suspected a man of having an illicit affair with his wife, leading him and his son to confront the man at his home.

Earlier, Tung suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship with a 56-year-old man in Binh Hang Trung commune, which caused a conflict.

Yesterday afternoon, Tung and his 15-year-old son went to the "rival's" home to talk. A quarrel and scuffle broke out, injuring Tung's son. Tung then used a knife to stab the opponent, who died at the scene, before surrendering to the public security.
