Four arrested after traffic collision leads to brawl

Four individuals, traveling by car and motorbike, reportedly used weapons to fight each other following a traffic collision in the mountainous Dong Giang commune.

Dong Giang Communal Police detained Tran Cong Bui, Hoang Van Vo, Cao Van Cai, and Hoang Van Noi, aged 30 to 41, on 20/3 for disturbing public order.

The incident began with a traffic collision on 4/10/2025. According to initial investigations, Tran Cong Bui, residing in Bao Lam 3 commune, was traveling with five others in a car through hamlet 3, Dong Giang commune. At that time, Bui's car collided with a motorbike driven by Hoang Van Vo, a resident of Dong Giang commune, who was carrying Cao Van Cai.

Following the collision, the four individuals from the two groups gathered on the road. They used dangerous weapons to chase and attack each other, causing a chaotic scene. This violent confrontation disrupted the area and led to public disorder in the highland commune.

Upon receiving the report, communal police promptly arrived at the scene. Officers verified the incident and identified criminal signs among those involved, leading to the arrests.

Dong Giang Communal Police stated that the timely detection and strict handling of such violations are crucial. These actions contribute to deterring and preventing crime, thereby maintaining security and order throughout the area.
