Previously, at 10 p.m. on Tet Eve (16/2), two young men arrived at the Kim Luong shop in Quang Thuan village, Quang Lap commune. They rode a black Air Blade motorbike, wore masks, and helmets, then asked to buy gold.
During the transaction, they suddenly snatched a gold necklace and a gold bracelet, totaling about 74 million dong, and fled on their motorbike.
That New Year's Eve, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Department, in coordination with other units and communal police, launched a search. They identified the two robbers as local youths.
Last night, authorities arrested suspects Huy and Phong, recovering all stolen property. The items were returned to the gold shop owner.
