On 21/4, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police were investigating Bui Dang Chau, a 31-year-old resident of Cam Lam commune, for murder.

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of 18/4, Chau, intoxicated, had an argument with his family. He then attacked his wife and mother-in-law with a knife. His wife sustained severe injuries and died while being transported to the emergency room.

After the incident, Chau fled the scene with his infant child, approximately 9 months old. However, police apprehended him two hours later while he was attempting to escape near an expressway overpass in Cam Hiep commune, more than 2 km from the crime scene.
