On 7/9, Ho Chi Minh City police arrested Son for disturbing the peace.
The incident began on 4/9 when an intoxicated Son rode his motorbike, blocking several vehicles on Tran Nhat Duat Street in Tan Dinh Ward (formerly District 1).
A video circulating online shows Son overtaking and blocking 31-year-old Cuong's motorbike. Son then verbally abused Cuong and repeatedly elbowed him in the head and face. The frightened victim abandoned his motorbike and fled to a nearby medical center before reporting the incident to the police.
After the unprovoked attack on Cuong, Son rode to nearby Phan Dinh Phung Street, where he chased a car, deliberately causing a collision and confronting the driver.

At the police station, Son admitted to losing control due to alcohol consumption.
Authorities encourage citizens to report any disturbances of peace or unlawful activities to their nearest police station or through the hotline.
