Man attacked for public urination outside home

Tran Van An, 26, told authorities he was angered by a young man urinating outside his home, prompting him to retrieve a knife and repeatedly attack the individual.

Police in Tho Chau special administrative zone, An Giang province, arrested Tran Van An, 26, on 19/11. He is currently under investigation for intentional injury.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on the evening of 15/11. An observed a 22-year-old man, appearing intoxicated, urinating outside An's home. An confronted the man, leading to an argument and a physical altercation.

Shortly after, An entered his house, retrieved a knife, and repeatedly attacked the man. Nearby residents intervened, taking the victim to a medical facility. His health is currently stable.

During questioning at the investigative agency, An admitted to his actions.
