Yesterday afternoon, Tuan and his partner had a conflict and argued. During the argument, Tuan allegedly stabbed Chi Tam with a weapon, causing her to collapse in the rented room. He then locked the door and fled the scene on a motorbike.
Residents in the rented complex had heard the argument. After Tuan left, the room became silent. Unable to reach Chi Tam, they suspected something was wrong and reported it to the police.
Police forced open the rented room door and discovered the victim deceased next to a hammock, with a chest wound.
After fleeing towards Go Dau, Tuan reached a bridge. There, he left his personal belongings and jumped into the river, aiming to mislead authorities. He then swam to shore and continued to hide.
By tracking the suspect and reviewing surveillance footage, police arrested Tuan.
