Dong Nai police extracted camera footage to verify an incident where two groups of young people chased and attacked each other, causing chaos in the city center late on 19/5.

Around 9:30 PM on 20/5, residents traveling on Vo Thi Sau street, through Tran Bien ward, stopped their vehicles in alarm as two groups of young people suddenly chased and attacked each other in the middle of the road.
One young man, wielding a long machete, pursued a rival group before escaping the scene on a motorbike with accomplices.
According to witnesses, the young men arrived on several motorbikes following a dispute with staff from a roadside restaurant.
"One group held knives, another held chairs, chasing and cursing each other, creating chaos along the road; no one dared to pass", said Nam, a witness to the incident.
Residents filmed the incident and posted it on social media, sparking public outrage.
Tran Bien ward police later arrived to take statements from those involved and clarify the incident.
