A 56-year-old man tragically died along with a 51-year-old woman after he allegedly doused her with gasoline and set her on fire during a love dispute in a house in Truong Duc neighborhood, Long Hoa ward. The incident, which occurred last night, is currently under investigation by authorities. The Long Hoa ward People's Committee confirmed on 7/1 that investigators are examining the scene as part of their inquiry into the arson.

However, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the man as well, leaving both severely burned and motionless inside the house.

Nearby residents discovered the incident and rushed both individuals to Tay Ninh Provincial General Hospital. Both victims suffered 3rd-degree burns across their entire bodies and were transferred to a higher-level hospital, but they did not survive.

Currently, investigators have not released the final information regarding the case.
