Man shot dead outside a cafe in Dak Lak

A man was shot about five times and died while sitting at a cafe in Buon Ma Thuot ward.

On the evening of 2/7, Dak Lak provincial police announced they are searching for the suspect in the incident.

The victim, Mr. Hua Hong Hai, 47, residing in Ea Knop commune, was drinking at a cafe in front of house number 176 Tran Nhat Duat street, Buon Ma Thuot ward, at 18h55 on the same day. A man wearing a green shirt with the Grab logo, riding a white and red motorbike, suddenly approached the cafe. He dismounted and walked towards Mr. Hai, then drew a gun (type unknown) and fired 5 shots into Mr. Hai's head.

Professional units of the provincial police are coordinating with functional agencies to examine the scene and conduct an autopsy.
