Investigators determined that from early 2025 until now, the ring had engaged in online gambling via game portals such as: HitClub, Sun Win, and Go88, with transactions amounting to approximately 100 billion dong. The group also facilitated the withdrawal of gambling funds from these portals for illicit gains.

Nguyen Van Tho is accused of leading the ring. The gambling operation involved close coordination, specific task assignments, and sophisticated methods. The group utilized anonymous social media accounts and established private groups to organize their activities.
