During an inspection of healthcare services and cosmetic surgery centers, police discovered several violations at Ho.pital SW on Cao Thang Street, Ban Co Ward (former District 3). The clinic lacked the necessary licenses for medical practices and cosmetic surgery.
Despite this, Huong directed staff to perform liposuction on clients.
Duong Tan Long, the marketing employee, was responsible for posting false advertisements about "doctors and specialists" working at the clinic. He also hired individuals to pose as satisfied clients who had undergone liposuction and shared their experiences on social media.
Nguyen Minh Khai, who lacked the required certifications for cosmetic surgery, posed as a doctor and performed liposuction procedures.
Investigators determined that since the beginning of the year, Huong's clinic had performed liposuction on over 500 clients, generating nearly 10 billion VND in illicit profits.
