Police question man who sprayed water at tourists in Cua Lo

A stall owner at Cua Lo beach admitted to spraying water towards an adjacent eatery, where many tourists were seated, due to a business dispute.

On the evening of 26/6, Cua Lo Ward Police announced they are also questioning another business owner to verify the dispute, in addition to the man involved. The incident is being processed according to regulations.

On the evening of 25/6, at the VinWonders Cua Hoi entertainment area in Cua Lo ward, the man repeatedly sprayed water from a hose towards an adjacent business. Many tourists were sitting and relaxing there, forcing them to stand up and move away.

During questioning by authorities, the man admitted to spraying water towards the adjacent eatery due to a business dispute.

A video of the incident later surfaced on social media, negatively impacting Cua Lo's tourism image. Police advised the public not to share, comment on, or spread unverified information on social media, to avoid affecting the verification process and distorting the nature of the incident.

Cua Lo beach, located over 10 km from the center of Vinh City (formerly) and over 300 km from Hanoi, is a popular tourist destination in the central region, welcoming millions of domestic and international tourists each summer.
