Nguyen Thi Thuy, 43, from Xuan Hoa ward, was prosecuted on 26/6 by Phu Tho Provincial Police. She faces charges of intentional injury under Article 134 of the Criminal Code.

The prosecution follows a conflict between Thuy and a 63-year-old woman from Hanoi. The dispute arose over selling space in Xuan Hoa market, where Thuy owns a seafood shop and the other woman sold vegetables directly opposite.

During the altercation, Thuy used a high-pressure car wash hose to spray the vegetable vendor's face. This action resulted in injuries to the victim's two eyes and right hand.

Following the incident, police issued a statement advising the public to resolve all conflicts calmly and lawfully. They emphasized that citizens must not use weapons, tools, or any dangerous equipment to settle disputes.
