At 5 PM today, the Hanoi City Police will hold a press briefing to release information on security and order results in Q1 and discuss several notable cases. This includes the case of serious accounting regulation violations at Bao Tin Minh Chau Co., Ltd.

On the afternoon of 25/3, numerous economic police and mobile police officers were present at Bao Tin Minh Chau's gold, silver, and gemstone business establishments located at 15 and 29 Tran Nhan Tong street, Hai Ba Trung ward, and 139 Cau Giay street, Cau Giay ward. The establishments subsequently rolled down their shutters, temporarily halting customer transactions while police worked inside.

After over four hours, at the two branches on Tran Nhan Tong street, several sealed document boxes were carried out and loaded into multiple waiting autos. By 5:30 PM, most of the officers had departed.

Bao Tin Minh Chau, founded in 1995 by Vu Minh Chau, is a prominent gold brand in Hanoi. The company currently operates four business establishments in Hanoi and has over 200 agents nationwide. As of 26/1 this year, Bao Tin Minh Chau's charter capital stands at 400 billion VND, with Mr. Chau holding over 97% of the shares. The company's stores serve hundreds of customers daily, with queues a common sight.
