On 28/1, HCM City Police reported detecting entities impersonating authorities for talent competitions, entrepreneur recognition, and entertainment events.
Authorities state that companies arbitrarily use official names and logos on promotional materials without permission. This creates an impression of official sponsorship, attracting participants, selling tickets, and soliciting sponsorships with high fees.
In reality, most programs lack advertised backing. They create a facade of credibility to illicitly profit.

Recently, the Internal Political Security Department of HCM City Police fined K.T.H Event Organizing Co., Ltd. 25 million dong. The fine was for organizing the Vietnamese Music Star Search 2025 competition without adhering to approved content. The company also had to recall publications containing misleading information.

Unauthorized use of official names and logos will be prosecuted. If impersonation is detected, report it to the nearest police station for intervention.
