Dat, residing in Thanh Sen ward, was indicted for brokering prostitution under Article 238 of the Penal Code. The People's Procuracy of Area 1 - Ha Tinh approved and announced these decisions on 27/1.

Investigations revealed Dat worked as a receptionist at a massage parlor within a hotel on Ha Huy Tap Street, Cam Binh commune, formerly part of Ha Tinh City. During his employment, if guests requested "sexual services," Dat would introduce female staff members to engage in prostitution at the hotel.

Prices were negotiated directly between the guests and the staff, with Dat receiving 100,000-200,000 VND for each brokered transaction.

On the evening of 17/1, police raided two hotel rooms, catching two couples in the act of prostitution. Based on statements from those involved, Dat was arrested.
