On 12/12, the Ha Tinh provincial police charged the teenager with intentional destruction of property, under Article 178, Clause 1 of the Penal Code.

According to the investigation, on the evening of 8/10, the teenager rode his bicycle to a pedestrian overpass in Ngoc Son hamlet, Viet Xuyen commune. He then took out his phone to play a game. Afterward, he repeatedly picked up and threw rocks down onto the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi highway, where many vehicles were driving.

One rock hit a tractor-trailer, piercing and cracking its front windshield, causing 4,2 million VND in damage.

Following the driver's report, Ha Tinh police launched an investigation, identifying the teenager as the perpetrator.

When questioned by police, he confessed that he threw rocks onto the road "to vent his anger" after losing a game.
