On 10/1, police in Hop Minh commune summoned the student, who resides in hamlet 2, for questioning and documentation regarding the illegal manufacturing, storage, and use of firecrackers.

According to the investigation, in early 12/2025, after learning that many schoolmates wanted firecrackers, the student purchased powder and casings via social media. He then assembled over 3,000 firecrackers, strung together, in his bedroom.

In late 12/2025, police apprehended the student while he was selling firecrackers to a junior high school student in Hop Minh commune. Officers found 100 red cylindrical firecrackers, weighing over 2 kg, in his backpack. A subsequent search of his residence uncovered more than 3,000 firecrackers, totaling 45 kg, along with 3 kg of precursor chemicals.
