The case stems from a 30 million Baht investment fraud lawsuit against Anne and JKN Global Group. According to the complaint, from 24/7/2023 to 8/8/2023, Anne and JKN Global allegedly collaborated to deceive, provide false information, and conceal facts to induce plaintiffs to invest in the company's bonds.
Anne, who was out on bail and being tried in absentia, failed to appear today at the Phra Nakhon District Court in Bangkok for her sentencing, providing no reason. Deeming her absence an intentional attempt to flee, the court issued an arrest warrant.
The court also ordered Anne's guarantor to pay the full bail amount within 15 days, as per the bail agreement.

Anne, 46, is a prominent transgender businesswoman in Thailand. She previously served as CEO of JKN Global Group, a media and digital content distribution company. Forbes estimated her net worth at USD 210 million (6,37 billion Baht) in 2020, identifying her as the world's third-richest transgender person.
Anne acquired the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), which stages the Miss Universe competition, for USD 20 million in 10/2022. However, she later sold half her shares to Mexican tycoon Raul Rocha Cantu in 1/2024 due to financial difficulties.
In June, Anne resigned from JKN after the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accused her of falsifying company records. The SEC fined her 4,1 million Baht (approximately USD 119,000) and prohibited her from holding director or management positions for 56 months. She also departed from the Miss Universe Organization in October.
Thai PBS reported that JKN's operations are currently suspended, following Anne's filing for business restructuring in 2023.
According to SCMP, Anne allegedly converted 6 billion Baht into cryptocurrency before fleeing to Mexico with assistance from her former business partner Cantu. She is reportedly living lavishly in South America.
