Y Jham Kpor was arrested on 27/7 by Dak Lak Provincial Police for rape.

According to the investigation, on the night of 15/7, following a drinking session, Y Jham took two knives and broke into several homes and grocery stores in Dang Kang commune. He attempted to steal property but found nothing.

Early the next morning, Y Jham broke into another grocery store. When the 62-year-old female owner woke up, he threatened her with a knife. Terrified, the victim remained still.

Y Jham then searched the room for money but found none. He held the knife to the woman's face, threatened and restrained her, then raped her before fleeing the scene.

This incident occurred despite Y Jham having been prosecuted on 1/6 by the investigative police agency for property theft and prohibited from leaving his residence. A week later, he stole a motorcycle in Dray Bhang commune.
