Neighbors on Tran Khat Chan street, they had a long-standing conflict over the space between their homes.
The indictment detailed that this dispute led to frequent clashes, arguments, and verbal abuse between family members. The situation escalated around 17:00 on 2/7/2024. A verbal exchange in front of their houses turned into a physical altercation, disturbing the community.
Following the incident, the ward People's Committee (UBND) requested an investigation to address violations, aiming to calm public opinion and maintain local security. During the court session on 8/9, Ngan admitted her actions. Huong, however, denied causing public disorder, despite her earlier statement acknowledging profanity and insulting her neighbor.
The trial panel considered witness testimonies, video evidence, and audio recordings. This review assessed individual sincerity, leading to varied sentences.
