Early this morning, the Economic Police Department of Da Nang Police, in collaboration with Ngu Hanh Son Ward Police, apprehended Nguyen Quynh Anh Phu, 36, residing in Son Tra ward. He was caught transferring laughing gas cylinders from a truck to an electric car for distribution.

Authorities discovered 6 cylinders in Phu's electric car and 283 cylinders in the truck bed, totaling 289 seized laughing gas cylinders.

Phu stated that in early September, he contacted an individual in the northern region to purchase 480 laughing gas cylinders for a total of 360 million VND, or 750,000 VND per cylinder, paying in cash. The goods were transported by truck and delivered to the intersection of Nguyen Phan Chanh and Vung Trung 1 roads, where they remained stored in the truck.

Whenever a customer placed an order, Phu would retrieve the cylinders from the truck and deliver them directly. He sold each laughing gas cylinder for 1.4 million VND.
