According to a Toshiba representative, due to their sensitive physical conditions, both children and the elderly are easily affected by the air environment. Therefore, the demand for air conditioners today, in addition to cooling capacity, must also meet the criteria of air filtration, antibacterial properties, maintaining a stable temperature, and user-friendliness.
Among its new product lines, Toshiba introduces two models, the RAS-H18S5KCV2G-V and RAS-H13S5KCV2G-V, which are popular with many families due to their combination of air filtration technology and health protection features. The highlight of the product lies in the Ultra Fresh technology, equipped with a PM1.0 dust filter capable of removing up to 95% of ultrafine dust particles, which are irritants to the respiratory tract and difficult to see with the naked eye. In addition, the product uses Leuconostoc enzyme, which has been tested to inhibit up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

In addition to their filtering capabilities, the two air conditioner models also utilize Toshiba's proprietary Magic Coil technology, which limits dust from clinging to the cooling coil. A self-cleaning function is also integrated, allowing the fan to continue operating for an additional 20 minutes after being turned off to dry the cooling coil, thereby reducing mold and bacterial growth. Users can also actively stop this process by pressing the Power button twice within 30 seconds. The anti-mold filter is designed for easy removal, facilitating regular cleaning. For multi-generational families, this simple maintenance allows older adults to perform the task themselves without relying entirely on external services.
The company also equips the units with a Hybrid Inverter motor to maintain a stable temperature and reduce sudden fluctuations. This is especially beneficial for young children and the elderly, as rapid temperature changes can easily cause heat shock, dizziness, or difficulty sleeping. The Hi Power mode allows for rapid cooling when returning from hot outdoor conditions. Users can then switch to the gentle fan mode to allow the body to gradually adapt, avoiding rapid cooling.
Experts recommend keeping bedrooms at 26-27 degrees Celsius, while living rooms or common areas can be set at 25-26 degrees Celsius, limiting the difference from the outside environment.
For young children, direct airflow can cause dry skin, sore throats, or discomfort while sleeping. Therefore, parents should use the Swing mode to distribute airflow evenly throughout the room, avoiding direct flow towards the bed or play area. For the elderly, maintaining Eco mode and using the night timer will promote comfortable sleep and save electricity. The Hybrid Inverter also contributes to reducing monthly electricity costs, a factor many families consider.

According to a representative of Toshiba Lifestyle Vietnam, the RAS-H18S5KCV2G-V model is suitable for living rooms or large spaces due to its powerful cooling capacity, while the RAS-H13S5KCV2G-V is more compact, suitable for bedrooms or small to medium-sized apartments. Both models have a sleek, monolithic design that easily blends with modern interiors.
"These two products have been researched by the company to meet the needs of comfortable living, energy saving, and health protection. Users are not only looking for instant coolness but also a comfortable and safe atmosphere for their skin and respiratory system when using air conditioning for many hours continuously," the representative shared.
