De Nhat Dinh: A 50-year-old bronze casting workshop in Nam Dinh

De Nhat Dinh operates a 10,000 m2 workshop system, specializing in crafting high-end bronze ritual items to meet consumer demands.

De Nhat Dinh Co., Ltd. originated in a traditional bronze casting village in Nam Dinh (now Ninh Binh). The company inherited bronze crafting techniques passed down through generations, building on a 50-year legacy in fine arts and crafts. From this foundation, the company specializes in bronze ritual items, serving both family needs and spiritual projects.

De Nhat Dinh currently operates a production workshop system covering over 10,000 m2. This includes workshops for bronze casting, bronze painting, and ancestral statue crafting. A team of nearly 100 artisans and skilled workers participates in the production stages.

Bui Thanh Duy, the brand's representative and operator, explained that steps such as mold creation, temperature control, and metal pouring require experience to minimize deviations in shape and structure. After demolding, products undergo further processing, detail finishing, and surface treatment.

"The pattern carving stage is done manually, ensuring sharpness and aesthetic appeal. Maintaining this process helps control quality and distinguishes our products from industrial manufacturing," he stated.

According to the company representative, the primary materials used are red copper, cartridge brass, or copper alloy, with controlled ratios to ensure durability and color retention. During production, metal composition and smelting techniques are monitored to prevent oxidation.

Additionally, De Nhat Dinh develops bronze ritual items for various worship spaces, from homes to spiritual complexes. Ancestral bronze ritual items come in diverse sizes, ranging from 40 cm to over 1.2 m in height, suitable for many settings. Designs feature traditional motifs like Phung Gia Tien (phoenix for ancestors), Phuc Loc Tho Khang Ninh (fortune, prosperity, longevity, health), Dragon-Phoenix, or Tu Linh (Four Sacred Animals).

For ancestral halls, temples, and pagodas, larger products are designed with solemnity, featuring layouts and patterns that convey the grandeur of the sacred space. Some products are also custom-designed to suit specific environments.

Over the years, De Nhat Dinh has earned various certifications and awards, including: Top 10 International Gold Quality Brands in 2023; Nam Dinh provincial OCOP 3-star product certification; and national artisan certifications (for Artisans Do Van Nam and Do Van Viet). The brand has also completed hundreds of ritual projects and served thousands of customers nationwide.

The company currently operates showrooms in Ha Noi, Ninh Binh (formerly Nam Dinh), and Hai Phong, allowing customers to view and select products directly. The combination of handcrafted artistry and large-scale production ensures product quality and meets market demand.
