As a companion event to VnExpress Marathon Hue 2026, Kun Marathon will take place over two days, 17-18/4, at Ngo Mon square. The event is designed for children aged 6 to 10, attracting 2,500 young athletes. While 500 slots were previously awarded through a minigame held from 1/4 to 5/4, the remaining 2,000 slots will be available for registration starting at 3 PM on 10/4.
Parents can register their children on the program's website. The organizing committee advises parents to access the website on a device with a stable internet connection to prevent system congestion. Required information includes: the name, age, and identification number of the child, along with the parent's phone number. Each account is allowed to register a maximum of 5 children, and the system will automatically close once the quota is met.

After successful registration, parents will receive a confirmation email with instructions from the organizing committee. Race-kits will be distributed on 17/4 at Ngo Mon square. At the same location, families who did not register online can still receive a bib by exchanging 24 collector cards found in Kun milk packs.
This year, the organizing committee chose the theme "Together with Kun to protect all species". This initiative aims to combine physical activity with educating children about their love for nature, concern for animals, and awareness of environmental protection. In addition to the nearly 1 km race track experience, children can participate in educational interactive games that help foster an awareness of preserving nature from a young age, such as: "bring eggs back to the nest", "clean the ocean", "rescue the green forest", and "feed your animal friends".

Kun Marathon first came to Hue in 2020. Over several seasons, the event has attracted tens of thousands of young runners and their families to participate in the race and accompanying activities, becoming a familiar gathering point for many families visiting the ancient capital. Accompanying the children are many beloved figures such as artist Truong Giang, freestyle football athlete Viet Anh, Can Minh Duc, singer-actress Ali Thuc Phuong, and YouTubers Meo Simmy and Mike Den.
Hue is the second stop for Kun Marathon this year, following an event in Ho Chi Minh City that attracted thousands of children and parents. After Hue, this playground is expected to continue to many other localities such as Can Tho, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, and Nghe An.
