After a two-year hiatus, the children's race, a side event of the VnExpress Marathon, returns to Quy Nhon this saturday morning. The last Kun Marathon Quy Nhon took place in 6/2023. The event was first held in Quy Nhon in 2020, with over 1,000 children participating, and then continuously in 2021, 2022, and 2023. This fifth Kun Marathon Quy Nhon event sees the organizers double the number of athletes from its inaugural season.
The one-kilometer course features many soft obstacles set within Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. In addition to the race, the organizers have designed five activity zones within the square, offering sports like: basketball, pickleball, football, a Kun farm, and multi-sport activities. Here, children can conquer a series of "Kunlympic challenges," showcasing their agility, skill, and sportsmanship.

Children can also meet and interact with the "Kun Team" at the stage area, featuring many personalities. These include comedian Truong Giang, known as "Papa Bu" at the Kun Marathon. Content creators specializing in artistic football, Do Kim Phuc and Duy Trung, will also be present. Children will also reunite with Thien Kim ("Tam Tuot"), a member of the familiar "Super Kun Team," TikToker Tieu Ngao, famous for engaging videos, and streamer and YouTuber Phong Can, who specializes in gaming content.
Registration for the Kun Marathon opened on 4/9. Previously, the organizers distributed some race slots through mini-games on the Lof Kun Marathon and VnExpress Marathon fanpages, or by purchasing two cartons of any 170ml/180ml Kun products at participating stores.
