As Tet approaches, conversations about holiday plans are common. Amidst this festive atmosphere, a unique "Today's Tet Calendar" is generating buzz among young people on social media.
Phuong Dung, a Gen Z individual in Ho Chi Minh City, was immediately impressed upon seeing the calendar online. She stated, "The calendar reminds me not to wait until Tet to start a new year, but to refresh myself right now, today."
Dung shared that she doesn't plan to leisurely enjoy coffee after cleaning her home for Tet, nor does she wait until New Year's Eve to write down resolutions or for Tet to socialize. She added, "For me, Tet is created in the present, from moments I truly dedicate to myself and loved ones."
The calendar's undated nature resonated with Dung and many netizens. For many, with their busy lives, Tet is no longer a fixed point in time but a reminder to slow down and be present for moments with friends and family, starting today.

Ngoc Tram from Da Nang believes the greatest value of Tet lies in the time spent maintaining family connections. Her biggest wish each spring is more family time. She expressed, "Just helping my parents clean the house or cooking the year-end family meal makes Tet feel very close. Those moments of family togetherness are what I cherish most."
The concept of "Tet of togetherness" is prevalent across many forums. Many believe it applies not only to family life but also to the workplace. Nguyen Truc from Hanoi shared, "Tet is an excellent opportunity for office members to spend time together, encourage each other to finish work quickly, and enjoy the fruits of a year's hard work."
In addition to personal reflections on Tet, wishes for the new year are also being inscribed on the "Today's Tet Calendar" by Truc and many other young people. Truc explained, "These could be wishes for love, health, career, or prosperity, for anyone I think of when I open the calendar."

Amidst the year-end work rush, many view Tet as a moment to pause from their hectic pace and connect with family, colleagues, and friends. Ngoc Tram added, "When each year-end task is completed with ease, that's also when we build memorable moments together."
The "Today's Tet Calendar" is an initiative within Nestle Vietnam's Tet 2026 campaign, titled "What More Can We Ask For Than This Moment Together". Beyond its online presence and social media, the calendar is also available in select supermarket areas, allowing consumers to experience it firsthand and share their new year wishes for themselves or others.

A Nestle Vietnam representative stated that the "Today's Tet Calendar" has garnered widespread empathy and positive responses, as it portrays how Vietnamese people cherish present moments with family and loved ones. These moments could be a morning coffee with a father before starting the day, preparing traditional home-cooked meals with a mother at noon, or simply a day of complete rest and togetherness. Phuong Dung added, "For me, when every moment together is treasured, the feeling of Tet extends longer, rather than just the few official holiday days."
