More than 2,000 children aged 6 to 10 participated in the 2025 Can Tho Kun Marathon at Song Hau Park. The young runners tackled a nearly 1-km course featuring obstacles such as ball pits, inflatable houses, climbing walls, and tunnels. The event promised to be the largest gathering of young athletes in the Mekong Delta region.

The presence of KOLs and child artists added to the event's excitement. Hao Khang and Trong Thy are familiar faces at Kun Marathon events across various provinces.

Hao Khang is known to young audiences for his roles in sitcoms such as "Spring Dance" and "Camellia." He gained wider recognition for his portrayal of An in the film "Southern Wild."

Freestyle footballer Trong Thy, who previously participated in the Nha Trang Kun Marathon, continued to support young runners in Can Tho. He captivated the children with his skills and ball tricks.

TikToker Meo Simmy is popular among children for her adorable, creative, and approachable style. Her presence at the Kun Marathon added a vibrant touch. Other notable attendees included Be Sun, Duy Anh, and Phong Can.

Beyond the main event, organizers arranged interactive games, minigames with prizes, a playground, and a photo booth. Race kits, containing shirts and hats categorized by age, were distributed starting at 8 a.m. on 12/9 at Song Hau Park, the marathon venue.

The Kun Marathon is a children's race within the VnExpress Marathon framework. It has taken place in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Ha Long, Da Nang, and Hai Phong, attracting thousands of children each season.
