Vietnam Family Day on 28/6 is an occasion for family members to spend more time together after busy days of work and study. It is also an opportunity for everyone to create beautiful memories and strengthen family bonds.
One popular choice for many families is organizing short excursions to parks, eco-tourism areas, or natural spaces. This activity helps members relax after stressful days and creates opportunities for everyone to participate in group games, take souvenir photos, and enjoy time together. For families with limited travel time, a picnic at a city park can also provide a relaxing experience.

In addition to outdoor activities, many families choose to prepare a meal together. Grandparents, parents, and children cooking together, dividing tasks, and completing favorite dishes increases interaction and creates a cozy atmosphere. Stories shared around the dining table often become precious moments for family members to listen to and understand each other better.
This year, June 28 falls on a sunday, making it ideal for families to participate in physical and health-related activities. A session of walking, cycling, playing sports, or joining community programs helps the whole family improve physical fitness and promotes a positive lifestyle. For young children, this is also an opportunity to develop communication skills, teamwork, and self-confidence when participating in group activities.

On this occasion, Long Chau is organizing the 3rd annual Family Festival on 27-28/6 in Can Tho, with many activities for multi-generational families. The program combines physical activity, interaction, and engaging activities, creating a space for grandparents, parents, and children to participate together, thereby fostering family bonds and proactive health care.
The program takes place at Luu Huu Phuoc Park, Ninh Kieu ward, with a series of activities for all three generations of the family. A highlight of the event is a 3-generation family solidarity walk covering 1 km on the morning of 28/6, coinciding with Vietnam Family Day. Participating teams consist of three to 6 members, including grandparents, parents, and children holding hands to cross the finish line. Through a series of health care, recreational, and physical activities, the program aims to spread the message of family unity, encouraging generations to spend more time together and proactively build a healthy lifestyle.
In addition to the main series of events, on 27/6, grandparents can participate in free health screenings such as: blood sugar checks, health consultations, and some community health care programs. Parents receive expert advice on vaccinations, disease prevention, and developing proactive health care plans for their families. Meanwhile, children have the opportunity to participate in many interactive games, receive gifts, and experience age-appropriate health education activities.

Alongside the festival, Long Chau also introduces new features on its application, including "Vi khoe nha ta" (Our Family Health Wallet). This feature is built on a family account model, allowing members to link to a common account to accumulate health spending and enjoy benefits for the whole family.
Instead of recording individually for each person, all transactions such as purchasing medicine, functional foods, vaccinations, or medical equipment are accumulated on the same family account, helping users reach preferential milestones faster. To mark its launch, Long Chau is offering users who activate "Vi khoe nha ta" three free gifts along with a voucher package totaling over 1 million dong.
According to a representative of the organizing committee, as health care needs increasingly become a common concern for many families, community activities combined with digital utilities like "Vi khoe nha ta" demonstrate a trend of connecting health care with daily life. Beyond offers or accumulated benefits, this is also a way for members to accompany each other on a shared journey, from forming healthy living habits to proactively caring for the entire family's health.
