Trong Thy, Hao Khang, and Meo Simmy energize Can Tho's Kun Marathon

Key opinion leaders (KOLs) like Trong Thy, Hao Khang, and Meo Simmy interacted with, shared experiences with, and accompanied 2,000 children at the 2025 Can Tho Kun Marathon.

The 2025 Can Tho Kun Marathon took place on the morning of 13/9 at Song Hau Park, with over 2,000 young athletes aged 6 to 10 participating. Including parents and companions, the total number of attendees exceeded 3,000, creating a vibrant atmosphere along the nearly 1-km riverside course.

From early morning, KOLs such as Be Sun, Duy Anh, Hao Khang, Trong Thy, Meo Simmy, and Phong Can were present at the main stage area. Many children gathered there to interact, warm up, and get acclimated to the pre-race atmosphere.

A familiar face at the Kun Marathon series, freestyle football athlete Trong Thy, expressed his joy at accompanying the children at the 2025 Can Tho Kun Marathon. The event's atmosphere reminded him of his childhood as an elementary student, when he always longed for such active play opportunities. "Back then, I really wanted to participate in activities with my friends. Now, Kun has created a beneficial playground, helping children exercise and connect with each other," Trong Thy said.

As a sports inspiration, he emphasized the importance of forming exercise habits early on. He himself started freestyle football at the age of 8 and maintained regular daily practice for many years. Thanks to this, Trong Thy built a solid foundation to pursue a professional performance career.

Besides physical training, he also mentioned nutrition as an essential factor for maintaining energy and athletic performance.

In addition to Trong Thy, child actor Hao Khang also contributed to the event's excitement. Throughout the race, Hao Khang closely followed the Kun runners, encouraging and supporting them to complete the course.

Hao Khang noted the enthusiastic competitive spirit and determination of the young athletes. "The kids had a great spirit; no one gave up halfway. Even though they were tired, even if some fell, they continued running to the finish line," Hao Khang said.

For Hao Khang, the Kun Marathon is not just a sports event but also conveys positive messages to children. According to the child actor, Kun encourages children to exercise, maintain environmental hygiene, and participate in healthy activities.

The appearance of YouTuber Meo Simmy, a familiar face to many children, also brought excitement to the 2025 Can Tho Kun Marathon. Right from the starting line, Simmy was warmly welcomed by the children.

Simmy shared her joy and energy at being immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the event. One of the most impressive moments for her was witnessing a child fall but quickly get up, continue running, and finish to cheers.

Besides Trong Thy, Hao Khang, and Simmy, the presence of KOLs like Be Sun, Duy Anh, and Phong Can contributed to a fulfilling day for the children.

In addition to the race, the event featured many side activities such as Kun jelly slides, interactive mini-games, and movement games like "Strong Race," "Super Kun Hands," and "Super Memory," attracting numerous families.

Kun Marathon is a children's race within the VnExpress Marathon system, previously held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Ha Long, Da Nang, and Hai Phong. Each season attracts thousands of children and is expected to become a playground that fosters athleticism in the younger generation.
