Three military transport vehicles carried the equipment and belongings of the Chinese soldiers. The parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on 2/9 (A80) will begin with the traditional torch procession and a ceremonial gun salute. This will be followed by an air force flyover. 43 formations will march in the parade: 26 military formations, 17 police formations, four foreign military formations, a formation of military artillery vehicles, and police special vehicles.
The naval parade in Khanh Hoa will be broadcast to Hanoi. In addition, there will be 13 civilian parade formations. The background formations will include honor guards at the grandstand and 29 standing formations (an increase of 11 formations compared to previous years), and 4,600 people will form shapes and letters on the grandstand.
