Around 7:50 PM, a car with an old Phu Yen province license plate (now Dak Lak province), driven by a man, was traveling on Le Loi Street (Tuy Hoa ward) when it crossed into the opposite lane and struck an oncoming motorcycle.

The impact threw the motorcyclist onto the road, and the motorcycle was severely damaged. The car didn't stop but instead ran a red light at the Le Loi – Le Trung Kien intersection and hit another motorcycle. Many witnesses, angered by the incident, gave chase.

The car continued driving and crashed into a house pillar near the road leading to Thap Nhan on Le Trung Kien Street, where it finally stopped. Residents used wooden blocks to immobilize the car and apprehended the driver before notifying the authorities.

Witness Pham Dang Khoa reported that the two motorcyclists suffered minor injuries. At the time of the accident, the 7-seat car was traveling at a high speed.

The incident is currently under investigation by the police.
